As a filmmaker, primarily a writer, I have always had projects that I’ve had to put on the Backburner for a multitude of reasons. Whether it was financial challenges, time constraints, or just a lack of know how, we all have that one or maybe even several passion projects that live inside of us. In an effort to provide guidance and support, I created Backburner as an initiative under SIDPo Productions to help bring these types of projects to fruition.

Backburner Films is a fully functioning production house that can bring your project from an idea or concept in your head to a fully produced film that you can shop and pitch depending on your post production plan.

Congratulations! You are now an Executive Producer and fillmmaker with a viable film that can be submitted to film festivals, pitched to networks, or submitted to streaming platforms for the world’s viewing pleasure.
By now you’ve no doubt got the bug, so it’s all about repeating the process and making more movies! It’s like eating lays potato chips, you can’t stop at just one. 🙂
